Born in Antibes in 1966, Guy PELLEGRINO began his passion for black and white photography in 1995 with two themes that dominate his work: people and graphics.
"My photographic angle is simple: I try to capture times and places and show them in a different light; in a way that they've never been seen before. My landscapes are rarely empty; they transcend shadow and create silhouettes that give them a human dimension. My work is guided by permanent aesthetical research. Often, it drives me to make my photographs simpler so that the eye roams freely inside the image."
In 2001, Guy PELLEGRINO was one of the founders of the "Lumière Noire - Atelier Photo" Association. This group, which now has a total of 11 photographers from the Riviera, was created to promote regional photography and to bring recognition to its members through various events: exhibitions, publishing works, etc…
