Franck-basilee spent his childhood in the Var region of southern France in Saint-Tropez. He still lives on the Cote d'Azur, in Nice.

Attracted by drawing and art in general, he discovered a passion for photography. In particular, digital photography, which offers him many artistic possibilities and stimulates his creativity.

"For me, the photos are only a starting-point, a base from which I can work. After, I assemble them and make improvements. I don't ever really have an idea of what the finished product will be like, more an intuition, a sense that I want to portray. It's only when I feel that this has been achieved that I consider it complete. Yes, that's what is essential!"
