Bertrand Boutaud

Born in the Limoges region of France in 1980, Bertrand Boutaud has always had a passion for image, painting, cinema and photography. He studied the audio-visual field from 2000 to 2002. It was at that time that he started taking photographs.

"From the beginning I used film, I continue to resist this oppressive digital photography, even though I know that sooner or later I will have to move on to that method. Despite all that I think I will stick to using film for most of my photos.

I am also, and perhaps first and foremost, a technician and operator of the television and cinema image, light and composition. All of this runs along the same lines, the image is of prime importance. Light, sensuality, texture, the affect it will have on the viewer...".
